SPECIAL SHOW ON "MUSIC IN THE WORSHIP OF THE CHURCH" * Could you please explain the purpose of singing in worship?*Why doesn’t the church of Christ use instrumental music?*Since David used instrumental music, why don’t you all feel comfortable doing the same?*What suggestions would you give for enhancing worship to God in song?*I once heard someone teach that instrumental music is a matter of opinion. He said that some may use it and others may not. Is this correct?*Would it be Scriptural to have solos or choirs in the worship assembly?*Please discuss on your show the practices of putting microphones on "the best singer" and making instrumental sounds with their voices. Why is it that some are so determined to turn worship to God into some kind of performance?

What may I do to help my prayer life? I feel like I do not pray like I should.*Can a person file chapter 7 bankruptcy in keeping with Christian principles?*Currently, high-stakes poker has been a ratings bonanza for a number of television networks. My question is: Should a Christian play poker for money?*How can the Bible be accepted as universal when certain aspects of it are impractical or obsolete to some cultures and cannot be applied practically?*Can’t the Bible be interpreted in many ways? Isn’t it to ambiguous to be trusted? Why should I believe your interpretation?*In First Corinthians 7:14, how is an unbelieving wife sanctified by the believing husband and how is the unbelieving husband sanctified by the believing wife?*What is the anointing of which John speaks in 1 John 2:20-21?

Who was responsible for the death of Jesus?*Since the introduction of the New Covenant abolished the old (Heb. 8:13; 8:7), does this mean that all of the Old Testament books were taken out of the way? Why then do we study them?*Is there anything spiritual in the Song of Solomon? If so, what is it?*What is the gift of tongues? May people speak in tongues today?*How will man be judged on the judgment day?*Some believe that the Bible is not always scientifically accurate. One writer said, “when the Bible describes a ‘firmament’ that separates the waters above from the waters below, one may wonder if the Bible intends to make an accurate scientific statement.” Please comment.*Was Elihu inspired in what he said to Job? (Job 32:8). Did he speak the truth?

Is it necessary to attend services on Sunday night?*Some teach that the earliest gospel account is Mark and that Matthew and Luke drew material from Mark. Also they say that what was not found in Mark was derived from an unknown source which is called “Q”? Is this right? *How long does it take for a Christian man to no longer be a novice (1 Tim. 3:6), that he might meet the qualification to serve as an elder?*What is the form of doctrine spoke of in Romans 6:17, which the people in Rome had obeyed to be made free from sin?*Should a congregation that is receiving outside financial support from sister congregations to sustain it, commit itself to supporting various mission efforts in other areas on a monthly basis?*Why do some people refer to the Lord’s supper as a sacrament?

If a person commits a crime against you, and after notifying the police, the person who is arrested is found to be a member of the church, what are your obligations relative to 1 Corinthians 6?
