SPECIAL SHOW ON "MUSIC IN THE WORSHIP OF THE CHURCH" * Could you please explain the purpose of singing in worship?*Why doesn’t the church of Christ use instrumental music?*Since David used instrumental music, why don’t you all feel comfortable doing the same?*What suggestions would you give for enhancing worship to God in song?*I once heard someone teach that instrumental music is a matter of opinion. He said that some may use it and others may not. Is this correct?*Would it be Scriptural to have solos or choirs in the worship assembly?*Please discuss on your show the practices of putting microphones on "the best singer" and making instrumental sounds with their voices. Why is it that some are so determined to turn worship to God into some kind of performance? |
